F.lli Righini continues its development by transforming itself into a joint-stock company. This transition represents a natural evolution for a company that, over the years, has expanded its expertise, production capacity and presence in the Offshore Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind, Decommissioning and Naval Repair & Refit sectors.
The transformation into a joint-stock company, accompanied by an increase in share capital to €3,000,000.00, confirms the organisational and financial solidity of the company and opens up new prospects for supporting investments, technological development and strategic partnerships. The principles that have always guided our daily work remain unchanged: a structured internal supply chain, rigorous engineering, maximum attention to safety and customer needs, as well as precise control of all stages of the production process and strong roots in the local area.
A journey that began over 75 years ago
The history of F.lli Righini is marked by milestones that reflect continuous evolution.
- 1930: first activities in the agricultural machinery sector.
- 1951: consolidation of ship maintenance, still one of the company’s pillars today.
- 1960: development of components for the iron industry.
- 1980: Entry into the offshore oil and gas sector with highly reliable systems and equipment.
- 2019: expansion into offshore wind, contributing to projects related to the energy transition.
- 2023: opening of Naval Repair & Refit with a 30,000 m² shipyard and direct access to the quay.
Future-oriented industrial capacity
Today, the company operates on a total area of 130,000 m², of which 16,550 m² is covered, and has internal departments dedicated to engineering, production, assembly, testing and functional testing, carried out in accordance with the standards of international classification bodies.
The growth of the in-house team, comprising around 100 professionals including engineers, technicians and production specialists, has accompanied the expansion into international energy markets, with projects carried out in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Continuity and development
The new corporate structure does not change the vision that guides the company: to offer reliable solutions, designed and manufactured in-house, capable of supporting complex operations in the offshore energy and naval sectors.
The transformation into a joint-stock company is therefore a strategic step aimed at strengthening governance, supporting development plans and seizing new opportunities in a constantly evolving sector.
F.lli Righini, wholly owned by the founding family, continues to grow alongside its customers, with the aim of achieving new engineering milestones and contributing to the evolution of the offshore energy industry.
